Health & Safety
Our goal as a company is to establish and maintain an effective safety program to eliminate or minimize the risk of accidents or injuries to our employees and subcontractors.
Baseline's Health and Safety Policy consists of particular standards we enforce regarding all jobs done on the site, shop, and office in order to maintain the well being of all our employees.
It is our policy to:
- Work in a safe manner consistent with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects.
- Provide a safe and healthy working environment to which our employees and subcontractors are entitled.
- Eliminate or minimize safety hazards through a program of education, communication, inspection, improvement, supervision and enforcement.
- Seek the co-operation and commitment of all persons at every level of our organization and that of our subcontractors in implementing and complying with our safety program.
- Co-operate with the Ministry of labour and it's inspectors at all times.
- Ensure workers are properly trained at the task that they are performing.
Each employee of Baseline Constructors Inc., as well as all subcontractors, will read and understand our Health and Safety Policy prior to commencing work on a jobsite. A site orientation and start sheet will also be completed and signed by all employees and subcontractors.
